Duality Semiconductor  (firm closed in April 2002) Client Description: A fabless chip company based in Northern Virginia which closed its doors in early 2002 when its acquisition by a larger firm was cancelled by the current market decline. Client's Objective: A professional site which described their patented technology and its potential uses. Previous site: None. Text/Art Supplied by Client: Client supplied the logo; I assisted in writing and editing the text. My Objective: A bold layout which connoted high technology and the spirit of innovation. Budget: Corporate. Total cost/time: For all iterations, 300 hours. Challenges: Setting up the secure section of the website, and preparing a complex slide show in HTML to explain proprietary technologies. Tricks: The three-way entry rollovers (an initial image, another on rollover, and a third image on mouseout).
