Client's Objective: A professional site which evokes the East-West nature of the business while clearly presenting the specific services the firm offers. Previous site: None. Text/Art Supplied by Client: Client supplied the small gold logo and the basic text. My Objective: A bold layout that expresses the firm's Chinese origins. Budget: Modest. Total cost/time: 36 hours. Challenges: Getting the entry animation pared down to a small enough size to load quickly even on a 56K connection. (The entry photo is from a series I took during a visit to Shanghai in 2000.)
