Music

It has been my privilege to play guitar on a number of recordings. Am I a great guitarist? Heck no, but the guys I've been privileged to play with are great songwriters and musicians. Here are three sample tunes for your listening pleasure:

King George Is Back (studio, mp3)
Mike Dakota's witty send-up of President George Bush. Click on the link to hear more of Mike's songs.

Music and lyrics by Mike Dakota (copyright 2004). Recording by Mike Dakota and the Mad Cow Longhorns;
Vocals and rhythm guitar: Mike Dakota
Bass and 2nd lead guitar: Greg Bogart
Lead guitar: Charles Smith
Background vocals: Cindy Cornwall
Additional vocals: Katharine and Marina Khamhaengwong

All Along the Watchtower (jam, wma file)
The classic Dylan tune, re-worked in a typically wild beer-fueled Bunker jam. Vocals by Richard Mitchell, first lead guitar, Gayland Baker, bass guitar, Steve Toma, rhythm guitar and second lead, me. My first lead starts at 1:30, the second at 2:55.

Under My Thumb (jam, wma file) The Stones never had it so good. Vocals by Richard Mitchell, first lead guitar, Gayland Baker, keyboards, Steve Toma, rhythm guitar and second lead, me. Gayland rips some tasty leads; my little solo pops up at 3:28.
